Photovoltaic installations on the ground: flexible, durable and easy to install

The installation of a photovoltaic field is one of the most critical phases. It is the moment of switching from the design to the actual and real building phase and requires a high level of skill. Aware of the strategic value of the installation phase, Leoncini Co. has secured in its team expert manpower that work directly on the building yard. A workmanlike installation is a top priority for Leoncini Co. and, as well, an essential requirement in order to ensure the best satisfaction of the end user. A photovoltaic field installed on the ground has the following advantages in Italy:

For the easy installation of the photovoltaic field on the ground in open spaces, Leoncini Co.  has developed a design of a support structure with sturdy screw foundation elements which are easy to install and represent an excellent alternative to the construction of reinforced concrete foundations, with remarkable savings in terms of costs, but mainly in the erection time. Leoncini’s screw elements are made of steel pipe with driving propeller and forged steel tip to facilitate its penetration in the ground. The pole is provided of a collar with slotted holes for fixing the overhanging structure. The foundation elements underwent a tensile test by means of a dynamometer and they are guaranteed for a tensile load of 2.000 Kg approx. Leoncini’s foundation poles can be fitted with different types of attachments according to customers requirements. They can be driven by a self-propelled machine or by a manual screw turning device.
